Glowfidence wasn’t born in a boardroom. It was born from experience. As a kid, our founder Darrin Cook, Jr. learned his first lesson in **entrepreneurship** by seeing value where others saw trash—selling Mardi Gras beads on eBay.[1] After Hurricane Katrina destroyed his family’s home, he watched his father rebuild it by hand, learning a profound lesson in **resilience and wellness**.[1] And early in his career, he felt the uncertainty of being underprepared, teaching him the importance of **financial literacy** and the power of having a supportive community.[1] These moments are the bedrock of Glowfidence. We exist to provide the resources, mentorship, and community that Darrin wished he had at every step of his journey.
